Blog Journal #4
My early Twitter experience has been great so far. I've been interacting with many educational sites that provide and information about the updates in the educational world. I enjoy interacting with my classmates as well because they also tweet cool things as well. I find it interesting because you can interact with people and gain connections that can help me in my future career.
The digital divide is when there is a gap between those who can readily access the internet and those who can not. This can be due to age, income or race. A digital divide hinders the learning experience in a group because not everyone can get onto the computer or the internet due to circumstances outside of their control. while technology has great uses in education, we have to be mindful not to create a gap where students who aren't as fortunate fall behind. Education should be readily available to all and there shouldn't be hindrances based on the technology or lack of in the classroom.
As far as academic software goes, I believe Photoshop and Logic are two tools that students can utilize in the classroom to be creative. In Photoshop, students can create and design whatever they want visually and be able to reproduce them. Things such as edits, flyers, and newsletters can be formatted on Photoshop and I would use it in my classroom to boost productivity and give students an avenue to create their own posters and flyers in school. Logic is a digital audio workplace where students can create music, mix music and record their own music by themselves. Giving students a fun avenue to create is necessary to me in a classroom, and you can incorporate educational benchmarks in both of these programs to make learning easy and fun.

The two software you chose are interesting. While Photoshop I can understand, Logic is more interesting. You're not wrong about it being beneficial in the creative department.
