First Blog Post
Welcome, my name is DJ and I am a junior at Florida State University where I am studying Family and Child Sciences in hopes of becoming a marriage and family therapist one day. I am from North Florida and I enjoy watching sports and listening to music. I get cold easily and I do not enjoy eating leftovers of any kind except for pizza. I have two sisters, one younger and one older, so I am the middle child. My favorite color is blue and I like watching Will Smith movies.
My prior experiences with technology in educational settings has increased since I arrived at Florida State. We have a variety of tools that we can use to help use make things easier when it comes to researching, writing, etc. In one class, my teacher used a Smart-board which helped us see information better and I've seen a 3-D printer used before and that was a cool experience too.
I hope to learn about more ways to use technology in the classroom so I can stay with the times in a more digital world. I hope I can learn new things about my classmates so that we can all work together and get great grades in the class this semester. Also, I hope that I can use this blog and go viral and make an appearance on Ellen in the near future. 😎

Hi DJ! Your blog post was interesting, especially the part about not liking leftovers. I think this class will definitely give us the tools we need to go viral and end up on Ellen, hopefully!
