Twitter has been very fun and interactive over the semester. I have followed many accounts that have great tweets and it's fun to interact with my classmates and see what they're interested in. There are many benefits that come from using twitter. Like I mentioned earlier, you can connect with many people, as well as share your ideas with many others that you may have not been able to reach before with Twitter. Personally, I have not had many issues with Twitter and it is a tool that I will continue to utilize moving forward.
After our Web Design assignment, there were many tools that I learned that'll help me. I liked how I could be creative making my website and I could add anything that I wanted to. However, there were times I felt that somethings were more difficult than others. Next time, I feel as if I can streamline my workflow to make creating a website easier whenever the next time I need to do that. I took notice of how while creating my website, I was able to collect information and then present it in a way that everyone could understand and be able to take something from it and learn. Assistive and Adaptive technologies are both necessary in the classroom for learning. Assistive technology helps people with disadvantages be able to learn better. Things such as the text to speech feature or autocorrect on your phone could be considered assistive technology. Adaptive technologies manipulate existing technology to make it easier for people to use. This allows people to learn about their environment in ways that may have not been possible before such as virtual reality. In my schools coming up, we always had examples of both in the classrooms and moving forward, I'm sure that schools will continue to implement this technology to facilitate learning.

ReplyDeleteHi DJ! I loved the graphics of your website, it was very fitting for your topic. The images represent the theme of your history class and create a cohesive website that contrasts the text. The repetition of the photos and black background creates a consistent theme as well. The alignment of the pages is done well because it is not too crowded. Like I previously said there are not too many bullets or topics on one page which creates a nice proximity between the items. Overall, I loved the theme of your history website and enjoyed reading your information!
ReplyDeletethe CRAP principals were well done here for example the pictures that you used is great in defining a contrast within the design. the repetition of black and white is great because one can get used to it and nothing sticks out in a negative way. the alignment is also done well because it is cohesive and does not appear jagged or anything .Lastly the proximity of everything is nice because it is clear and easy to read. good job following the CRAP principals.
ReplyDeleteYour webpage design follows the CRAP principles very well! The contrast in the pictures you used go well with the rest of the page. The repetition is great too because the colors and theme are the same on each page so they all go well together. Everything on your pages are also aligned really well in relation to the other information on your pages. The information is also in proximity with the other information making it easy to navigate. The page also looks very professional and everything is organized and easy to navigate. I like the theme yo chose to use it is very aesthetically pleasing.
